Protesters in Myrtle Beach Join National ‘No Kings Day’ Movement

Millions of people across the United States took to the streets on Saturday, June 14, for "No Kings Day." The coordinated protest movement was directed at President Trump and his administration.
Protesters in Myrtle Beach gathered at Chapin Park on Saturday morning. Then, they moved their protests to City Hall on Saturday afternoon.
"The problems that we’re having in this country right now and what we see going on in the White House, and just what everybody’s saying, you know, ‘No Kings.’ We’re heading down the path, letting history repeat itself," one protester told WPDE.
"And he’s acting like a dictator, and I think that’s what all these people are here for and across the country today."
Local police were present at both events. No arrests were made, and no injuries were reported.
